Support the Pool Through Give to the Max

This year’s Give to the Max theme is Giving That Gathers Us, and it couldn’t be a better fit for the Lamberton Area Community Foundation’s fundraising project for repairs and improvements to the Lamberton swimming pool.

For more than 60 years, the pool has been a gathering place. Kids spend their summers there. Teenagers earn their first paychecks. Neighbors cool off and reconnect. It’s the only pool within 20 miles, and it brings our community together.

The pool needs critical repairs to stay open. The Lamberton Area Community Foundation is raising $20,000 for improvements identified by the Pool Committee.

The Lamberton Lions Club has already donated $10,000, and we’re challenging the community to match that amount—which means every dollar you give is matched. Your $50 becomes $100. Your $100 becomes $200. Give to the Max is the kickoff for this fundraising campaign.

What’s Give to the Max?

Give to the Max is Minnesota’s biggest giving day. Early giving runs November 1-19, with one $500 Golden Ticket prize drawn each day. On Give to the Max Day (November 20), Golden Tickets are drawn every 15 minutes, plus hourly $1,000 prizes and a $10,000 grand prize.

Why participate in Give to the Max?

When you give through Give to the Max, every donation enters us for Golden Ticket prizes. We could win anywhere from $500 to $10,000 in additional funding on top of your matched gift. The more people who give, the more chances we have to win.
