Decodable Book Library

In August 2025 the Foundation awarded an $1,800 grant to help fund decodable books for first-grade students at Red Rock Central School District. Mary Hewitt, the first-grade teacher who applied for the grant, will use these books to help students with phonics during a critical time in learning to read. The books will supplement regular instruction and give young learners text that matches their current reading level, building both fluency and comprehension skills.
