Lamberton Area Community Foundation Grants
The mission of the Lamberton Area Community Foundation (LACF) is to enrich the Lamberton community to be a great place to live, give, and thrive through charitable giving and grant making.
Purpose: All projects should be focused on improving the Lamberton area.
Geographical Focus: City of Lamberton
Range of requests: $500 to $6,000 – The LACF reserves the right to partially or fully fund requests.
The Lamberton Area Community Foundation (LACF) is pleased to announce that the application window for the 5th annual round of community grants is currently underway, with an application deadline of May 31st, 2026. Applications will be reviewed in June and applicants notified soon thereafter. Approved grant activities will take place from June through December 31, 2026.
We are looking to help fund projects that fit our foundation’s purpose and support your organization’s mission. Eligible applications are 501c3 Non-Profits (including churches, religious organizations, & charitable organizations), Local Units of Government and Schools within the Lamberton zip code (56152). If your organization does not fall under these categories, please contact an LACF board member to help locate an eligible grantee to sponsor your project.
The LACF grants are $500 minimum with the total of all approved grants not to exceed $5,000.
Ideas include any activity, program, equipment, fixtures, events, or improvements that enhance our community. We welcome any questions you might have; simply reach out to any board member, and we’ll be happy to help. Applicants must recognize the LACF on all announcements and promotions for the project.
In 2025, the LACF board awarded three grants:
- Red Rock Central School: Purchased decodable textbooks for the first-grade class to supplement core phonics instruction.
- The Lamberton Commercial Club: Replaced the welcome signs along Highway 14 at the edge of town.
- Red Rock Central Weekend Food Program: Provided funding for food and supplies for students in grades PreK–12.
In 2024, the LACF board awarded three grants:
- Lamberton Long Sox Youth Baseball: Updated equipment for the team.
- Lamberton Pool Committee: Purchased water aerobics equipment and new seating and loungers.
- Lamberton Cemetery Association: Added a directory and updated signage.
We were proud to partner with these local organizations and look forward to future collaborations.
