We are excited to share the news that this year, the Foundation has embarked on a new initiative by establishing our first project fund. As part of our commitment to our community’s well-being, we have taken on the role of fiscal host for funds raised to enhance our city park. This essential project has been initiated in collaboration with the City of Lamberton and the Age Friendly Community group. The planned upgrades are geared towards making our park a more vibrant and inclusive space, with improvements such as new play equipment for younger children, swing upgrades, the addition of a gaga ball pit, and bean bag stations. In addition to these exciting enhancements, we aim to create a new walkway, connecting the southeast corner of the park to the shelters, making it more accessible to all.
