LACF Is Now Accepting Grant Applications for 2026

Now’s your chance to turn a great idea into reality. The Lamberton Area Community Foundation is now accepting applications for our 5th annual round of community grants. If you have an idea that could make Lamberton a better place to live, we want to hear from you.

What kinds of projects are we looking for?

Think big. Think small. Think fun, practical, creative — whatever your community project looks like, we want to hear about it. Grants can fund almost anything that improves life in the Lamberton area — activities, programs, equipment, fixtures, events, or physical improvements. If you’ve been sitting on an idea and wondering how to make it happen, this could be just what you need to get it off the ground.

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits — including churches, religious organizations, and charitable organizations — local units of government, and schools within the Lamberton zip code (56152). If your organization doesn’t fall into one of these categories, don’t let that stop you. Contact an LACF board member and we can help identify an eligible fiscal sponsor for your project.

What has been funded in the past?

In 2025, grants supported decodable textbooks for Red Rock Central first graders, new welcome signs on Highway 14, and weekend food supplies for students in need. In 2024, grants went toward baseball equipment for the Long Sox, new pool equipment and loungers, and updated signage at the Lamberton Cemetery. Your project could be next.

Let’s make it happen!

Grants start at $500, with a total of all grants not to exceed $6,000. Approved projects run June through December 31, 2026, and the application deadline is May 31, 2026. Grant recipients are asked to recognize the LACF in announcements and promotions for their project.

Visit our Grants & Awards page for more information and then fill out the short application. Applications are due May 31, 2026.
