The Lamberton Area Community Foundation (LACF) is deeply grateful for the generous support we received in 2025. A big thank-you to everyone who gave — your kindness made a huge difference to everyone who calls Lamberton home.
Celebrating What We Accomplished Together
Thanks to your support, 2025 was a milestone year. Our endowment fund has grown to nearly $115,000, an important step toward ensuring we can continue supporting local projects for generations to come. This comes on the heels of our 2024 partnership with the Age Friendly group on the city park improvement project, which added new features that everyone in Lamberton can enjoy.
In 2025, the foundation received over $35,000 in donations. Every donation, no matter the size, was appreciated and made a difference in the work we do to help fund community improvement projects, including these three grants awarded in 2025:
- Red Rock Central School: Purchased decodable textbooks for the first-grade class. These books supplement core instruction and give students text they can read during phonics lessons.
- The Lamberton Commercial Club: Replaced the Lamberton welcome signs along Highway 14 at the edge of town.
- Red Rock Central Weekend Food Program: Provided funding for food and supplies for this program, which is open to any student in grades PreK–12. Each week, students receive a bag containing breakfast, lunch, and snack items for the weekend.
The Lamberton Swimming Pool Gets a Boost
Because of you, our fundraising effort for the Lamberton Swimming Pool project was a success. Thanks to a generous donation from the Lamberton Lions Club, the success of our Give to the Max Day campaign, and the support of many other donors, the Pool Committee now has resources to devote to the next phase of their improvement plans. The swimming pool is a valued community asset, and investments like this one make Lamberton a better place for everyone.
